Recently Mesa Tactical was asked by several law enforcement agencies to produce a Picatinny rail that can be mounted on the right side of the Remington 870 and allow a weapon light to be secured behind the ejection port. This is for door breachers who need more light in tight quarters where lights near the muzzle would be unsuitable. We also offer a rail for the left side of the receiver. These rails are compatible with SureShell carriers mounted on the opposite side of the receiver. As with all our rails, these are is machined to the MIL-STD 1913 specification from 6061-T6 aluminum, and features a mounting system similar to that of our SureShell shotshell carriers.
